Parenting Middle School Boys 2025-26
This group is for any parent or caregiver of children who identify as boys, ages 11-15 or in Middle School. This class will be a supportive community for those who feel challenged by the demands of parenting their middle-school boy and/or who are interested in building and maintaining a strong parent/child dynamic in adolescence, and will include evidence-based information on child development, parenting philosophy and practices, and the lowdown on mainstream trends and ways they may affect boys. Topics will be covered according to the interests of the group, and may include academics and achievement pressure, play, masculinity, emotional literacy and regulation, puberty and sexuality, pornography, peer relationships, technology & gaming, sibling dynamics, fostering physical and mental health, and supporting autonomy.

Notes:
In-person classes (7 of the 9) will be at the Edina Senior Center (5280 Grandview Square, Edina, MN
Two class meetings (Feb & Apr) will be held via zoom.
Cost for Nine 90-minute meetings is $280 per parent
Class will have a minimum of 8, maximum of 14 parents.
Financial assistance is available on a case by case basis.
To secure your seat please complete this form and submit your $280 payment by August 8, 2025. The first fourteen with complete registrations will be enrolled.
Parents who enroll in BOTH this class AND Parenting Boys K-5 will receive a $60 rebate back from their combined ($560) tuition.
